In case you're not familiar with the name, John's company, Central Air, operate about 35 piston Commanders (+ 1 Turbo) from Kansas City. I had the extreme pleasure to meet him a few years ago. He is Commander through & through and I'm sure his talk will be one of the most informative and interesting you're ever likely to hear. So, don't delay - get your Registration in for the Fly-In............ NOW!! See Y'all there, Best Regards, Barry C (UK) ----- Original Message ----- From: <YOURTCFG@aol.com> Subject: Commander-List: CONVENTION | --> Commander-List message posted by: YOURTCFG@aol.com | | HI KIDS. | | Just another reminder to plan to attend the TCFG convention | this year. Subject: AOL
--> Commander-List message posted by: "Barry Collman" <barry.collman@air-britain.co.uk> Hi guys, Well, it seems that AOL have blocked any 'air-britain.co.uk' users because presumably they think we are a commercial organisation about to overload the system with spam. In fact there are are only about a dozen people using that account, all of them aircraft nuts like myself. We did have the same problem a couple of years ago, but that seemed to go away. If anybody knows anybody at AOL, can they see if they can get us back 'on-line'? AOL are apparently ignoring pleas from the company whose server we use. Can anybody help? Has anybody got some suggestions? Rather ironic that they sponsor a Commander on a round-the-World flight, but deny kindred spirits the use of their email facility! Don't get me wrong. Anything to block spam is OK in my book, but please don't let it affect innocent users! Barry C. (UK)
