It's not in flying condition and has been there for ages already. When I searched the Internet, N400VA came up as a Douglas DC6. I will take some pics next week and post them for you to look at. I looked up GLASER-DIRKS and saw that these are gliders. This is a pressurized fuselage with twin turboprop engines in pusher prop configuration. I will check again about that registration and take some pics and let you know. So, standby. I have a busy, fun week ahead. Most of you know Sue and I rescue unwanted Iguanas. Well, we work with another much larger rescue in the Seattle area (80 iguanas!!) They have a grant to relocate some of the "special need" iguanas to new permeant homes. Tomorrow I will fly triple 2 to a small private airport near Bremerton, Apex airport, and swap 4 iguanas we have for two that need new homes. The next day, I will be flying one of them "Cleo" to her new home in Billings Montana, 576km. I will check out her new home and then fly back to Caldwell Idaho and spend the night where I will do a flight test report on a Brand new Super Cub clone on amphibious floats for In-Flight USA Magazine. After a flight back home and a day off, I will once again be back in triple 2 to deliver the other Iguana, "Pox" to his new home in Hayward CA. I plan to visit Morris K for a day and back on Friday. Lots of gas through the stacks, all paid for!! Yippee. Hope everybody has a great week in Commanderland. jb ________________________________ Message 8 _____________________________________ Time: 11:02:17 PM PST US From: "css nico" Subject: Re: Commander-List: BUSY WEEK --> Commander-List message posted by: "css nico" I've been wondering, jb, and I ask purely out of ignorance and a desire to gain knowledge (isn't that cute?). What is this thing you are doing flying Iguanas around? Are people actually paying you to fly them around or rescue them? As what? Pets?
