Well, usually nobody pays except me. Over the years I have delivered iguanas
to new homes in Washington, Oregon and Idaho. This time a large rescue in
Sea has been given a grant by someone to relocate these animals. Yes, they are
pets. It is a huge untold tragedy in America. Tens of thousands baby iguanas
are imported each year. 80% die in the first year from lack of care
knowledge. Of those that survive, 80% die in the next year. That still leaves
thousands of unwanted iguanas needing homes.
Iguanas are easy to care for but not for everyone. They differ from
other reptiles, like snakes and turtles (Who only think three things, eat, poop
escape) They have about the same intelligence level as a cat. The "free
roam" in your home and are "house broken." They live 20 years and require lots
of
attention to remain a pet. They can be a very rewarding animal to have in
your home, like raising a dinosaur in your den!! Enough abut them, this is a
Commander site!
Anybody planing to go to the flyin who hasn't registered?? jb
