Sir,
I'm not currently in the market for an aircraft but I'm beginning to
keep an eye out for mid-2004 when I expect that I'll be able to combine
business flying with pleasure. This means I'll have more hours as a
"singles" pilot (I'm very low time and still training now) and I'll have
the time to train on a twin. After doing some research, it appears that
you have an impressive reputation as "the" authority on aero-commanders.
These have caught my eye for a number of reasons but most importantly
that I can carry 4+ colleagues or wife, son + 2 dogs in significant
comfort at 180+kas with reasonable economy, all for under $200,000.
Therefore, any guidance you can provide in the coming months on your
experiences etc. surrounding the 500B or 500S would be appreciated.
P.S. If you have another buddy selling his well maintained A-C for
$55,000, I'll trade him my $85,000 Porsche. Of course, he'll pay for
the $30k in upgrades;-)
