--> Commander-List message posted by: "George J. Yundt III" <yundt@speakeasy.net> Tylor, Yes, I think I may know the wherabouts of 1-2 cores of GTSIO-520-K-1B (which is the EXACT build up variant you want for a 685). Do you want one or two? If you get an engine (-L or -N) for a 421 you will spend lots of money getting the accessories right for the 685....making it not the most economical course if you can get the right variant in the first place. Also do NOT accept a -C core, (there may still be a few of those out there) as that was what originally delivered on the 685 in the mid-70's and they were horribly unreliable (and the major reason the model never sold well) Give me a call later this evening (1600-2000 CDT) or Friday (0800-1200 CDT). --> Commander-List message posted by: "Fran Myers" <myersf@comcast.net> Hi Guys, I am in training for the Avro RJ85 (BAE 146) with Mesaba Air Lines. We had a trivia question about why the left hydraulic system was YELLOW and why the right was GREEN. The instructor said it was due to some nautical thing in the way past. Does anybody know the answer? Thanks Fran

I'm guessing... Port vs. starboard? except red would not be a good colour (indicates a problem), so they made it yellow?
