Sir Barry - We have another commander "sighting" in AC-starved Louisville,
KY. N198JW landed last nite! It is a beautiful 680 F(P) with winglets, and
the "Jimmy Daurante" nose. Air scoop on top (presurization?).
Commander-Areo did the work according to the sticker on the tail!! The
plane has a Coast Guard emblem on the side. Left early this morning. What a
muscular looking machine - long blades and big engines.

I fly once a week in my 182. If anyone is interested in a reciprocal flying
hours program, let me know. I fly about once a week minimum and bring folks
along to swap time or what have you. I'm also interested in chipping in for
gas on flights in the OKC area if you are an MEI and I can get some PIC
logged. I had a 2 for 1 swap with a friend for multi time as an example. We
were both CFI's and we swapped 2 hours in my plane for 1 in the TwinCo she
had block time in. I will possibly fly to anyhwere close for short trips or
what not.

I touched mine up using a brush and model paint. Then, I clear coated them.

Getting them shot peaned and anodized does not cost a whole bunch of money
and every time you look up you will thank your self that your finger nails
(if you don't wear gloves that is) aren't scraping the paint of the panel.

Another thought is to go to an office sign maker with the dimensions and
they will mill out a full sized plastic panel with any text you want on it
in any color of panel you want, white text on a black panel looks good and
is inexpensive.
