The dates in California are really pretty fluid. It is a follow-up for a 500A owner that I did training with last month. He had a set of items he wanted to work on, one of them being night flying. When we tried it his lights when out and the circuit breaker popped. The mech. could not look at it so he sent me home and asked me to come back. I told him I would and since he has already paid me in full and I am a man of my word I am going back to California to finish my obligation. Unfortunately, I'll get no additional revenue for the trip so I made the posting to try and make a buck while I was out there. It seems to have worked. Long story longer is the original client won't really know until 8-15 when he can fly. For you Mason I am available the end of August first of Sept. By the way I believe John McNulty will be joining us. I hope you are still okay with that? Also, do you still want me to develop a FAM course for your wife? This is what I am thinking. The FAM course will consist of the following. Straight and level, Turns, Descents, Configuration for landing and speeds, Wastegate usage, checklist use, pressurization system use when descending. Engine instrumentation scan and what to look for. and of course landings. What are your thoughts? How are your v-speeds coming along? Lets plan on 4 days min.maybe 5 days to train all three of you. If the list is only to sound off it would be of little value. Here you put the list to good use and it benefits Commander pilots. If I were in the market for training right now I would have chimed in booking you right away and appreciated the trusted atmosphere that the list already created. Go for it! Perhaps you feel you should not use the chat forum to book appointments and earn money. If you are in a position that will benefit other Commander owners/operators and don't mind publishing your activities then others may benefit from reading the postings. You may have even convinced someone that is waffling about taking any recurrent training to take some because he sees his fellow pilots doing so.
