G'day All,
Congratulations to Capt Jimbob, John Towner and the fabulous
team at Central Air for putting together the best TCFG Fly-in yet.
A big thankyou to Sue Metzger for all of the 'behind-the-scenes' stuff.
There is no doubt that the incredible strength of the TCFG continues to lie in
its vast diversity of members and the passion with which we all love the
Aero Commander.
It is clear that the network has gone to a new level of strength and I get
the feeling that more and more people and organisations are sitting sharply
upright and taking notice of the ever growing strengh of the TCFG collective
voice.
The assembled fleet of twenty-three Commanders last weekend must be a
record with nearly a full cross-section of types represented [1x520, 1x500,
2x560E, 1x680E, 1x680F(P), 2x500A, 9x500B, 1x500U, 3x500S, 1x685,
1x681].
Add to this list the fifteen or so Central Air Commanders (500B's and a
690A) that cycled through Kansas City Downtown over the weekend and
thus we were claiming nearly forty!
The TCFG continues to represent a fascinating collection of true-
believers...lets all continue to keep the dream alive!!
