--> Commander-List message posted by: "Barry Collman" <barry.collman@air-britain.co.uk> Hi, A Model 1200 wasn't actually *built*, but a Model 695A, serial number 96062 was test-flown in Model 1200 configuration. Production was planned, with serial numbers 98001 through 98004 allocated, but they were never built. The 1200 was essentially a Model 695B with TPE331-12-701K engines with have a rating of 900 maximum continuous shp and would have been de-rated to 875shp. Four-bladed Hartzell props were to be used, model HC-D4N-5L and it appears that blades of the type LEP569-5, JD10194B and JD10185B were test-flown. No Type Certificate Data Sheet appears to quote these blades though. 96062 was first flown in August 1983 with TPE331-10-501K engines and the props were shown as Hartzell HC-D4N-5L with "LEP569-5" blades. It did not have the TPE331-12-701K engines installed until April 1984, with blades quoted as "JD10194B" and in October 1984 they were shown as JD10185B. By the time it was converted to a Model 695B in June 1986, it had accrued some 265 hours. 96062 is currently owned by the State of Virginia, having been purchased in July 1986, shortly after conversion to 695B.
