Just got back from delivering Jimmy Rodriguez 500B (S/N1) from San Juan to John Towner in KC. I stopped at Stella Maris resort for fuel and go weathered in. Yep, weathered in the the Bahamas!! (Try telling you wife that!!). Anyway, had a great night there and saw N175AC, another 500B (with A/C) operated by the resort. It is in really nice shape. Then to Opa Locka to clear customs. Then to Boca Raton to deliver Jimmies life raft for re certification and on to KC. Had a GREAT trip. The air conditioning and auto pilot worked great! Good to be home. Triple two is do for her annual this month, 90C inspection, new oil cells. All the registration forms for the fly-in are in the mail. If you want to attend and dont receive one in the next few days, let me know. It will be a great time. It is always a blast!! Richard and Jackie Thompson from Australia will be riding up with Sue and I. The long promised vendor list is now complete and will be sent to TCFG Members. Sue has worked hard on this and it includes some great information. We used John Towners list as a foundation and build from there using input members. We will update it at least once each year so if you have a good (or bad) experience, let me know. Hope all is well in your "Commanderland" jb ________________________________ Message 4 _____________________________________ Time: 09:30:31 AM PST US From: "nico css" Subject: Re: Commander-List: COMMANDERS OF THE CARIBEAN --> Commander-List message posted by: "nico css" JB Yeah, the wheathered-in story in the Bahamas would be a classic. With my luck I'd get wheathered in at a place like Lonely Gulch in a desert somewhere. Please send registration forms for flyin. I have a Stearman and 2 C-180's and both of those aircraft make me realize just how special the Commander is. I hope you can manage to find a way to keep it. Kindest regards, Bill> Thanks for the thought Bill. Interesting; it is a C180 or C185 that I figured I'd move down to from the 500B if I do sell it. Larry
