      Joe,

Is it the kind that weight can be added to relatively easily, so that I can
lift the front wheel up off the ground to change the front tire?

      Ricardo,

Try Jack Chappell in Riverside, CA (951) 371.7513 as he has a very good
      selection of used Commander parts.

Found this photo of what is described as an "Scrapped" Aero Commander, just
wondering if anyone here knows which one this is.

      Moe,
When I had the FBO, I purchased a weighted tail stand that we put concrete
      in to add the weight.
It would hold the tail down when we jacked up the wings. Worked on Twin
      Commanders, 210, and Bonanzas.
      http://aircraftjacks.com/
It was a galvanized tub with wheels and an adjustable connection to the
      tail. Worked well.
