It's a rambling bunch of crap. Why can't the Commander list stick to Commanders. On another point, Mr. Giron, if you are flummoxed by email and the internet, I'm sure someone would be happy to help you notify your contacts about your address change. By sending your email address change the way you did, I now know (and everyone else on various lists you subscribe to) know who your friends and relatives are. We know your politics, and your faith. We can deduce that you are involved somehow in legal or medical issues. In this day of internet identity piracy, this can be dangerous! Just a friendly, helpful reminder! ___________________________ Deneal Schilmeister St. Louis - Cincinnati 1997 SL500 http://homepage.mac.com/deneals/SL500.htm -----Original Message----- From: On Behalf Of steve2 --> Commander-List message posted by: "steve2" No, it kind of doesn't sum it all up. Turn up the volume and spend a minute or so listening to this. I respect their opinions and treasure their passion for Commanders. On the other matters we will respectfully agree to disagree. Socialism and liberalism have taken away my freedoms and, therefore, I have a hard time assuming a passive pose about it. It is as if I want to shake everybody by the shoulders and yell for them to wake up. But I realize that everyone indulges in a sleep about that which appears comfortable or unimportant. In future, I will be more careful about sending non-Commander related issues. Please know Mr. Limbaugh is offering a caricature of liberals and liberalism. I don't know of anyone liberal that even remotely resembles the figure he describes; and hell, I live in Vermont. Most all 'liberals' I know were wholeheartedly behind our knocking over Afghanistan, and wholly against our Iraqi adventure as ill-timed and ill advised. (Kinda like Pat Buchanon was.) That does not make people out to destroy America. Such outrageous characterizations inflame anger, hatred and division. Both sides deeply love the country and are passionate about it, or there wouldn't be fights over what it is we are. I'd be happy to chat with you directly sometime, because this ain't the appropriate place, but suffice to say it is deeply painful to be painted as un-American and un-patriotic because of disagreeing with a number of things being done nowadays in the name of conservatism. I'm not so sure the intrusions on your freedoms in the future will be coming from liberals. This is now my second post. I wished both had been about Commanders. I fly a 500B out of North Adams MA for photo survey work. Second generation Commander pilot as my Dad flew Magnetometer surveys all over the world, mostly in 680E's. Today I'm sitting here at my desk running a simulator, trying to figure out our new Garmin GNS-480/MX20/Mode S boxes. They are a lot smarter than I am.
