JimBob,
It was great to see you up in PDX -- and thanks for the ride!
Just to brag to the rest of you, I was on a lay-over in KPDX right after the
Fly-In (that I missed) and was treated to a "private Commmander Fly-In" when I
spent the day making the rounds with JimBob and his AC-680E.
What a great ride that was, and I got to live a bit of the Pacific Northwest
aviation life-style. It's a good thing they have going up there ... except
they have silly ideas about making airplanes act like boats, which is just
wrong. (Airplanes are an evolutionary step beyond boats, putting floats on
airplanes is de-evolution.)
I did enjoy getting a recap on the Fly-In and I am impressed with some of
what JimBob is working on for the future. He's got some great ideas and we're
lucky to have is energy and drive.
Sir Barry, I am so sorry I missed seeing you whilst you were here in the
Colonies. Next time, old boy.

I missed meeting up with you again mate! Next year, I'll make sure you either
have an assignment in Dayton, or that you get the week off! All I have to do is
find your bosses address........
I think you got a taste of what JimBob Fly-Ins are like at Hillsboro. Well, that
was only for starters. They get better each year!
