Barry and list,
It is with great sadness to announce the destruction of AC560A N2774B,
another victim of Hurricane Katrina. Rob and I were very close to
purchasing her from the current owner, a disgruntled spouse who was taking
her estranged toys away from him. But that's another story.
She is still sitting in the grass at KMJD, Picayune, MS. after being towed
from the tarmac by a chain wrapped around the collapsed nose gear adding
more damage. She is too much for us to tackle for restoration and would
hope someone out there would attempt to save her. We flew her just before
Katrina and was wow'ed by her performance. Very original panel.

Hi Steve,
To say "thank you" for letting me know that a Commander has been wrecked doesn't
seem right. But I'm grateful for the information, which keeps the database that
much more accurate.
Very Best Regards,
Barry

HI KIDS.
I have a friend who is selling his 680. It is an "S" that was
converted to an "E" by the factory. The airplane has older avionics and average
PT & INT. I think about 500 SMOH. Needs propellers and cleveland brakes. It
is hangared and was in annual until recently. It has Swerengin main landing
gear doors, kinda rare. I think $65K will buy it. This is the very first
Commander I ever actually touched, nearly 30 years ago!! Contact me if you
are interested. jb
