Thanks, Nico. I'll have to admit that I've never flown a stock 680FL(P), so I don't
have any comparison to give. Dick Macoon opined that the takeoff performance
is degraded, while the cruise performance is superior with the IO-720s.
For my two cents, I'd give the Mr RPM the big thumbs up for bleed air pressurization,
turbo-normalizing vs supercharging, eliminating the 3000 psi hydraulic
system, and the bigger alternators. I run between 16,000 and 19,000 at 198 to
202 kts TAS @ 65 percent.
My favorite thing is when an Aerostar driver looks at the plane and brags about
how much faster they are. I always offer to bet pink slips on a 5-hour run.

Yes, we are looking for a dash 10 airplane (fresh or recent HOTS) with newer interior
and newer paint. We don't want to have the hassle of redoing interior,
paint, avionics, or engines this time.

Do you believe that the Mr. RPM conversion is worth it on the 680FLP?
