It's approximately 50 pages, and in addition to being interesting reading, it has many photos of failed engine components and discussions of the probable causes of the failures. I'd like to pass it along, so if anyone on the list wants it, it's free for the taking. Rockwell had to instigate a re-engining program for the Model 685 in 1975 of course. (From GTSIO-520-F to GTSIO-520-K). However, if somebody else is interested, perhaps they could acquire it and let me have a copy? Sincere Best Regards, Barry C. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Stan" Subject: Commander-List: Continental Engines Warranty Manual from 1968 | --> Commander-List message posted by: "Stan" | | Hi group, | | I just found a notebook produced by Continental Motors Corporation that | is a warranty policy reference they provided to their aircraft engine | distributors. If I ever get them rebuilt I have Continental engines on the two Taylorcraft's and the Champ. Thanks Jim Addington 604 Seville Rd. If you scan it up (or send it to me and I'll have a geek scan it up) I will publish it on the website. Afterwards, I can send it to wherever you want. I think that Nico's idea is superb, so I will send the notebook to him first so that he can scan it, and then Nico and Barry can get together on shipping arrangements. Nico--I need your mailing address.
