On Condition is correct but, 24 mo should be max. It will be different depending on the climate or if the aircraft is kept in a hangar or tied outside. Do they regularly get oil or hydraulic fluid on them? Bottom Line: If they don't look good, replace them!!! It would be a great reference. In the most recent 150 hour program for the 690 series it says "Down Lock Bungee- Inspect for fraying and deterioration. Squeeze the bungee with thumb and forefinger, if contact can be made, replace bungee." No calendar time is specified. That is the most recent revision dated August 9,2002.
