Too late! I did it in 1976 when N400CH was N222AD.
By the way, that aircraft has a neat history of hauling celebrities while it
was owned by AVCO Broadcasting and was was used to support the Phil Donahue
show, in it's early days, in Dayton, Ohio.
My employer purchased it from AVCO and Dick Wartinger and I (yes, I
physicaly did a lot of the work. Since we had nothing to fly) converted it to
the Mr.
RPM at his shop (Then Dayton Aviation) and it was the first conversion done
outside of Dick McCoon's shop. I flew it with both types of engines. It was a
great airplane.

Now you've gone and made the AVCO TV jingle get stuck in my brain.....
"Channel 2 in Dayton;
Channel 4 Columbus;
13 is the channel over in Indianapolis (Indiana)
And the whole thing originates live
On Channel 5 Cincinnati Cincinnati O-High-O!"

Actually Donahue was live from WLW-D channel 2 in Dayton.
AVCO was originally the Crosley Brodcasting.
Bob Hope road in N400CH (then N700KC) many times. When he would be picked up
in that airplane he would say to the pilot (Charlie Petro) "well Carlie, I
see you brought the Spad"!
I guess he was use to bigger aircraft.

And of course, 700KC represented the frequency of their flagship station,
WLW Radio, which broadcasts on a frequency of 700KiloCycles.
Of course these days they call kilocycles kilohertz.
While Donohue originated in Dayton (whatever happened to Cassano's Pizza,
anyway?) the other Avco shows like Paul Dixon and Ruth Lyons originated at
channel 5, where that jingle came from.
Didn't Cassano's operate a Commander for a while?
