--> Commander-List message posted by: "Barry Collman" <barry.collman@air-britain.co.uk> Hi All, I've just been pointed to a news article about a drunk driver who hit a Commander and so badly damaged it, it could be a write-off. The incident occurred at Benton Airpark, Redding, California on May 11th. The Commander is described as a 1959 model. I'm virtually certain it is Model 500, s/n 691, N55BW, but if anyone in the area can confirm that, I'll be grateful. The news article confirms the owner is Tom Jaharis, and is operated by Redding Aero Enterprises, which my database indeed shows. The plane had just had it's annual, hence being outside rather than inside it's hangar. Gary Tillman used to own it, from February 1990 to May 1992. Best Regards, Barry
