MR.RPM used a flush scoop like a Turbo Commander. You might try one of those
and modify it to fit.

Tom,
If you are referring to the Commander I reported on about 10,days ago I was
sold intact and flying. It was a 500 and it would not have had the scoop
you wanted anyway.
By the way, I was asked to start it(the 500) up and taxi it across the
runway last week to a tie down spot. To make a long story short, it did not
have enough fuel in it to taxi the 800 feet or so to the tie down.
That's scary.
