I hope the cold has cleared up! I find I have a question regarding your 681. I have searched the FAA records, but cannot seem to find a Form 337 covering the installation of the Winglets on s/n 6027. They should, of course, have been installed under STC SA1359GL. If you have anything in the paperwork you hold that would reveal the date on which they were signed-off as being installed, I'll be very grateful if you would let me know. Your help will, of course, be very much appreciated. Sincere Best Regards, Barry ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 08:08:33 AM PST US From: "Stan" Subject: RE: Commander-List: N681SP --> Commander-List message posted by: "Stan" Hi Barry, My dad and I both enjoyed seeing you again, too! My cold is all better. In fact, it cleared up a couple of days after the fly-in, and the rest of the week and the trip back went very smoothly (and quickly, too)! I have not located any paperwork on the winglets. I'll keep looking, but I have a feeling that during the period that this plane was owned by the government, not all of the paperwork was recorded properly. My guess is that this is when the winglets were installed. Gary Kromer advised me that the next time the winglets are off for maintenance I can get the necessary information from the tags inside them and we can figure out the paperwork from there. I'll be sure to keep you posted!
