Hoping you guys can help me out on another situation. My shrike has to have
an annual x-ray on the wing spar due to the 30 month wing spar inspection
showed an air pocket or occlusion. Does anyone have any suggestions as to
who best to perform this operation and approximate cost. I am located in
Louisiana. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Tommy Mathieu

Aero Commander Down In Oklahoma Four Die On The Way To NBAA
Four men are dead after
their plane apparently broke up in-flight over eastern
Oklahoma.
The Associated Press reports the plane's owner, Jon Olsen,
was in the co-pilot's seat, and his father-in-law Charles Howard
was on the pilot's side. Olsen was a CFI.
Two others were riding along on the flight from Oklahoma City.
The men were on their way to Orlando Florida to attend the NBAA
convention.
The wreckage of the Aero Commander 690 (file photo of
type) was strewn over a wide area of rugged terrain near
Antlers Oklahoma. Authorities used four-wheel-drive vehicles and
horses to search the area by ground after the plane was reported
missing last Sunday afternoon.
Controllers say the aircraft climbed to 23,000 feet out of Wiley
Post airport into an area of heavy rain before disappearing from
radar.
The widely-scattered wreckage hampered efforts to locate the
victims bodies. Searchers found the final victim's on
Thursday.

Commander drivers,
N680RR engines have just been converted from IGSO540B1A to IGSO540B1C. This
means that we have removed the magnetos which use individual external coils
and replaced them with regular mags. If anyone needs them I have 6 low
voltage mags, external coils, primary and secondary wiring (some brand new).
Will sell at a very reasonable price if anyone in the group needs. If not
e/bay in a couple of weeks.

Hi all, not to long ago someone was offering a hydraulic valve (amoungst

I need to either buy one or find a place that will stop mine from leaking in
a no-pressure environment.
