Subject: | Matronics Fund Raiser - 2006 List of Contributors |
Dear Listers,
I would like to thank everyone that made a Contribution in support of the Lists
this year! It was really nice to hear all great comments people had regarding
the Lists! As I have said many times before, running these Lists is a labor
of love. Your generosity during the List Fund Raiser only underscores the great
sentiments people have made regarding the Lists.
If you haven't yet made a Contribution in support of this year's Fund Raiser please
feel free to do so. The nice List gifts will be available on the site for
just a little while longer, so hurry and make your Contribution and get your
great gift. Once again, the URL for the Contribution web site is:
http://www.matronics.com/contribution
I would like to thank Andy Gold of the Builder's Bookstore ( http://www.buildersbooks.com ), Paul Besing of Aeroware Enterprises ( http://www.kitlog.com ), Jon Croke of Homebuilt HELP ( http://www.homebuilthelp.com ) and Bob Nuckolls of AeroElectric ( http://www.aeroelectric.com ) for their extremely generous support during this year's Fund Raiser through the contribution of merchandise. These are great guys that support the aviation industry and I encourage each and every Lister to have a look at their products. Thank you Andy, Paul, Jon and Bob!! Your support is very much appreciated!
And finally, below you will find a web link to the 2006 List of Contributors current
as of 12/7/06! Have a look at this list of names as these are the people
that make all of these List services possible! I can't thank each of you enough
for your support and great feedback during this year's Fund Raiser!
THANK YOU!
http://www.matronics.com/loc/2006.html
I will be shipping out all of the gifts in the next few weeks and hope to have
everything out by the end of the month. In most cases, gifts will be shipped
via US Postal Service. Kitlog Pro serial numbers should go out via email this
weekend.
Once again, thank you for making this year's List Fund Raiser successful!
Best regards,
Matt Dralle

Be careful Sir Barry,
Gathering TCFG members together for a 'Flyin' has sometimes been referred to
(more than once over the years) with the same difficulty associated with 'herding
frogs'...surely these are found alive in ponds...
Can't remember who uses the term though!!
Just a thought from Downunder!

Given that our Fearless Leader - Capt. JimBob - is the Patron Saint of
Iguanas, I think Moe knows exactly what the next TCFG Fly-In is all about.

Hi Bilbo,
Well, I think that's from Shakespeare's Three Witches in Macbeth:
First Witch:
Double, double toil and trouble;
Fire burn and cauldron bubble.
Second Witch:
Fillet of a fenny snake,
In the cauldron boil and bake;
Eye of newt, and toe of frog,
Wool of bat, and tongue of dog,
Adder's fork, and blind-worm's sting,
Lizard's leg, and howlet's wing,
For a charm of powerful trouble,
Like a hell-broth boil and bubble.
Oh heck, OK, I cheated and did a Google search. Never read much Shakespeare. Not
aware he wrote many aviation books.
We also use "Newt" as slang when somebody has too much to drink and say "He was
as p*ssed as a Newt".
Very Best Regards,
Barry

When you are in the piston business and fly a 680F(p) you do tend to be a

reduced to hustling dinners from club members.

When you are in the piston business and fly a 680F(p) you do tend to be a
bit hungry. Perhaps if I sold life insurance and flew a 172 I would not be
reduced to hustling dinners from club members.

David,
Welcome aboard.
I have had a look at the proposed pricing for the Kingair, just a
little frightening, as I recall the figures quoted by Garmin in an
article in Aviation Week and Space Technology, there would not be
much change out of AUD$100,000.
Cheers,

Folks,
That's the Cri-Cri, a French designed home built.
One of the funniest airshow acts I have seen in Europe is the
Brittany Ferries display tea, a Zlin 262 and three Cri-Cri's, doing a
duck and ducklings aerobatic routine.
Cheers,
Bill Hamilton

Were you looking at the G1000 or the 600 for the King air? $100,000 sounds
a bit rich for the 600.

Commander drivers;
My Christmas came early, it came today. Harry and Mike drove up from
Titusville to Griffin, GA., and installed a set of freshly overhauled
props on my 560E with Capt. Jimbob's STC. It has been a long
frustrating two years as various problems arose for both Harry and
myself. Harry had a little problem getting the engines started as it
has sat for some time with a dead battery, but he showed up with a new
battery and two props. Now to get the annual done and I should be
airborne. NO PROP AD's again.
Merry Christmas
Don
