Hi All, Milestone? Well sometimes it's more akin to a Millstone, but I thought I'd impart the fact to the Group that the number of records in my Twin Commander database has now reached the giddy heights of the 90,000 mark. OK - only three of them are correct, but I'm working on the other 89,997 ;-) I hope you all have a great time in the forthcoming Festive Season and send my Best Wishes for a Happy New Year. Kindest Regards, Barry Collman UK CommanderLand Rep. High Wycombe, England "Live life on the edge - if you don't take up too much space"

I was going to try, but the semi's here in New England won't hold still and stop wriggling. ----- Original Message ----- From: CloudCraft@aol.com To: commander-list@matronics.com Sent: Friday, December 22, 2006 1:51 AM Subject: Re: Commander-List: Stupid Commander Tricks In a message dated 21-Dec-06 18:13:41 Pacific Standard Time, steve2@sover.net writes: Lest prior post appear irresponsible, this was at 6000' agl. Ok? That IS irresponsible. I was hoping you were going to tell us you were able to land on the top of a semi-truck rolling down the highway -- going the opposite direction. By the way, I don't believe there is a Santa Claus or a tail wind. Both are myths they tell little children. Wing Commander Gordon

Gentlemen! I haven't been around an AC-520 since the last decade of the last millennium. Can anyone give me a list of V-speeds from the AFM? I realize the V-speed nomenclature wasn't used when the manual (what -- all 4 pages?) was written, but if someone can list the performance speeds, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance, Wing Commander Gordon

Wing Commander, V Speeds? Manual? I was told to go full power and to pull back when the airspeed was in the green arc. Gear up and go for Blue line. What more do you need? Kick tire, light the fire, and go like the wind?
