Think he is still looking for the black box for the fuel gages. The Bendix in the Commander is far preferable to the 55X with the remote annunciator, unless it is coupled with a glass display. They coupled it to my PN 101HSI. and it has worked great until about three months and it sounds like what is wrong is minor, just have not had time to get fixed. It is different from most of the autopilots I was used to except the one on the L-101. I got every thing but the yaw damper and we did not think the Commander needed it.
