I have two old hyd. Pumps of the P-366-1(64650) variety that were taken
off and replaced with Pesco's. These never seem to last "long" before
needing overhaul/repair due to leaks. It seems that every year (app.
300 hrs.) they need some type of attention. Is this normal or just my
misfortune?
Should I have the old ones (mfr. Date of 1965) overhauled and put on a
shelf? The plane is a 1970 500S.

You do need to specify "overhaul" or "repair". They are different.
