I was at Barrett Jackson this year (on stage when my friend sold his 440six pack Super bee,lot 13360.? The prices are, believe it or not, wayyyyyyy down!!? jb If one could have known that stocking up om some muscle cars in the 60's would have sold for this much... -----Original Message----- From: nico css <nico@cybersuperstore.com> Sent: Thu, 24 Jan 2008 8:52 pm Subject: RE: Commander-List: not *quite* a Commander If one could have known that stocking up om some muscle cars in the 60's would have sold for this much... But then again if I could only know for certain what will happen in the next 60 seconds it would change things. Casinos, watch out. -----Original Message----- From: owner-commander-list-server@matronics.com [mailto:owner-commander-list-server@matronics.com] On Behalf Of John Vormbaum Sent: Thursday, January 24, 2008 6:42 PM Subject: Re: Commander-List: not *quite* a Commander NO american muscle car is worth that much....and I'm a big fan of american muscle. It's all Barrett Jackson that has inflated these prices to meet their own ends thru aggressive marketing & auction coverage. I also don't buy that something that spent 30 years in a barn doesn't have critter infestation. Mice, anyone? I'd pay $50k for it. I wonder what his reserve is? Hey Russell, Thanks! N680E is still in the corner of Morris' hangar. I need to call him. We have new trusses, new engine mounts, and most of the other stuff we need. Just need to get cracking. It's an awful job. At the time we were not equipped to do it ourselves and the plane got taken apart. Now I have the talent in my shop to get it done, but kinda hard to ferry an aircraft that's missing an engine. Anyway, it's worked out OK because the divorce has kicked my butt for the last 4 years and I only now have the extra cash. I would like to get her flying again, and probably sold. She'll be one of the best bathtub commanders flying when I'm done with her. How are things down under? Sir Barry... Good point there. I would guess that the next step in this evolution of progress is to go backwards a bit... Go Greyhound anyone? Also... Are those busses DBW now? (Drive by wire) :) David Owens Aerial Viewpoint N14AV AC-500A-Colemill

Hey, you guys... Did anyone hear the rumor that Southwest is going to pull out of Hobby Airport Houston, because of non-expansion? I heard Aero Mexico is going to move into their place, and re-name the airport Javier? Sound right? David Owens Aerial Viewpoint N14AV AC-500A-Colemill
