Morning, Bill!
The flaps do go full travel as the airplane slows after landing. (To test
this I landed at 130knots and had my eyeballing them so he could call out
when they started to move again.it happened around 90 knots.)
You happen to know of a good procedure to check the actuator for bypassing?
Spent some time in the maintenance manual- and the only way I could envision
was to remove and send it for overhaul. Obviously I'd prefer to do it
locally if possible.
Thanks, Bill

Do they go to full after you land? If so, check the actuator for bypassing
do to a failed O-ring.

There really should be a PA23 club, but there never will be. Near as I
can tell, an apache is like a fat girl. Almost everyone has had a great
experience with one in the past, but nobody is willing to admit it.

Nancy,
I would also like a couple of the caps, but I am in Australia.
Do you have a PayPal account, or do you have a fax that I could send a Visa
authorisation?
My email is wjrhamilton@optusnet.com.au
Cheers,
Bill Hamilton

What price range should they be in for a nice embroidered baseball cap with

When I first bought my Commander (2000) I bought some baseball type hats
with a head on view of a commander and the words AeroCommander written above
it I think, they had them in white and blue, several years later I order
some more and they no longer had the picture of the plane on the hat. I
really would have like to had the 'bird do-do' on the bill like a Captain's
hat or military field grade or whatever.
I ordered these I believe from one of the Commander service centers.
Does anyone know where you can still order the Commander hats that have a
head on view of the airplane?
