Lloyd,
You are right about the amount of work involved, I have actually made my own
press dies (one rib at a time) to duplicate the proper profile, it's a slow
old job ---- but---- using a steel male die, and an "oil filled nylon"
female, I can get a very good profile, with no marks at all on the surface
of the skin.

Thanks, Bill - that can be out fall back plan. Just got a lead on some skins so
will follow up on that first. Nice to have a plan "B" though!

surfaces have been re-skinned using the Cessna material with an engineering
approval/337.

We had a bad wind storm here in Delaware a few months back and the top skin
of my left elevator was slightly damaged near the outer leading edge. I've
searched around for a skin and/or replacement elevator, but little luck -
only skin I could find was rediculously priced. Complete new/salvage
