Peter, About ten years ago I had the pleasure of visiting your country on a fishing trip. We fished on the orinoco and ventura rivers and caught a lot of different fish including peacock bass ,Parinah and others. Had a great time, beautiful country! I have a 680 but it may not be ready to go to the fly in,still working the kinks out. Hope you can get to Tulsa. Gil **************It's only a deal if it's where you want to go. Hi All, Just so that there's no confusion, Peter needs to get to Bethany-Wiley Post (PWA), not Tulsa! I'd hate for anyone to miss the festivities ;-) Best Regards, Barry ----- Original Message ----- From: WINGFLYER1@aol.com To: commander-list@matronics.com Sent: Wednesday, August 27, 2008 2:05 PM Subject: Re: Commander-List: FLY IN and looking for a ride to OK! ouuuups! that's right... a mixing of letters can be dread full in this business! thanks for the correction Barry... are you crossing the atlantic for THE fly in? how can I get a hold of your newletter? should I send a direct email to someone? or is it too late... Thank you, and some day we'll have to discuss the history of YV-ABE, later on YV-515P, wich eventually was empounded by US authorities in Miami in 1982 or 83... (a long story) I also remember that he bought it in Oklahoma early 70's. My father past away last year and I'm still sorting through his stuff... Hi Peter, Yes, I'll most certainly be in Oklahoma City. I haven't yet missed a TCFG Fly-In since they started in June 1995 and don't intend to for a good while yet! I will send you the history of your father's 560, which was serial number 211. I knew it returned to the USA as N5462Z in 1984, but didn't know it was impounded in 1982 or 1983. Mind you, although there was a Bill of Sale as YV-515P to Page Avjet Corp., in Miami, Florida on March 15th 1984, the Venezuelan registration wasn't cancelled until August 9th that year and it wasn't registered as N5462Z until November 16th 1984. Hopefully, you can help further with that 'oddity' regarding the dates and provide some background information. N5462Z was later seized by the Metro-Dade Police Department on April 12th 1985 though, with a Court "Final Judgement of Default" issued in their favour on September 9th 1985. I'll send you the history of s/n 211 in the form of an Excel .xls file tomorrow.
