Hi Tom,
I cannot be certain, but am reasonably sure that your "8AJ" is a Model
690B, s/n 11458.
This is currently owned by Cascadian I LLC., of Bellevue, Washington so
not a million miles away from you!
I cannot trace another Commander with "8AJ" as the last three of what
would be the call sign.

Folks,
Well, I tried to get to the flyin, but my mom is celebrating her 90th
birthday in Cape Town and we are flying out on the very weekend of the flyin
to be with her. If I may quote her, "there aren't going to be many of those
left for me, so you better get your butt over here."
Next year will have to do.

Nico, Had the pleasure to visit Cape Town and South Africa earlier this year
and just was amazed at how beautiful that area is. The people were friendly
and Cape point was just Awsome! Hope to go back again someday. Also went to
Kruger National Park and again was just amazed at the animals and the beauty.

Ah, it is indeed a lovely place. Pity communism is wrecking the
infrastructure. But, not much of the people's warmth has been damaged.

Are you looking for photo's of all dataplates?
The dataplate is about the only original part left on our commander. I'll
take a pic if you want it.
