Subject: | Re: How much is a trillion dollars? |
As a professor of surgery I try to make a visual comparison as I teach
medical students. I ask "how much do we spend on health care inn USA?" they
don't know - it is 2.2 trillion. so then I give the visual - a stack of
fresh 1000 dollar bills is 8 inches high - billion is 300 feet high,
trillion is 23 miles high.
