There was a post about the installation of 2 12V batteries in place of the large (very expensive) G-50C. There is an old Commander service letter (#52), from 1962, that allows that change with only a logbook entry. I found this gem about 2 months after I replaced the G-50C ($750.00) IN MY OWN AIRPLANE!!!!!! Oh well. If you are a TCFG member, I will get you a copy.
