Still got the GO-435 stuff? I might be able to stop by there on our way back west
from Detroit in the 520.

Looking for a 520 that is in OK someplace.
My friend/client has been awarded ownership of a 520 from a bankruptcy court.
He does not know the N number and does not seem to be able to get any information
from the debtor.
It is suppose to be at a small private airport in OK.
I remember seeing one for sale at one time in that area.
If any one has any ideas, please let me know.

Hi Tylor,
Could be:
s/n 39, N411VV.
Repossessed by Minnwest Bank Ortonville, Ortonville, Minnesota but sold to
Charles R Wray, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
I saw it at El Reno Airpark, Oklahoma in October 2007.
If you get any clues, let me know.
e.g. who was the debtor?
Best Regards,
Barry

What's that little bulbous extension I see on the nose of so many early Commanders
as in the example from the link above? Does it serve any function or is it
just some kind of halfway house towards a full Shrike nose rebuild?

Still have all the stuff. Someone expressed interest in the 435 docs,
but I haven't heard anything further. I'd certainly prefer that it go
to someone who owns a 520 - even better if picked up IN a 520! I need
to do some further digging. I had a TON of 520 parts, but I've given
quite a bit away and tossed even more in the junk as nobody seemed
interested. There may still be some odds and ends around but I have not
had a chance to look.

That's Crunk's old bird isn't it? It was in pretty good shape when he
owned it. Who knows how it's been cared for since though.

An evolutionary step towards a Shrike nose, perhaps. What you're looking
at is a Chamberlain (or similar make -- Sir Barry will tell us the exact
make) nose to house a weather radar.
