Hi Tylor,
N52WD is a Model 520, s/n 141 (formerly N21SA, N21S, N2629B).
Was bought on August 23rd 1997, as N21SA, by Declo Enterprises Inc., of
Lafayette, Indiana and re-registered as N52WD in December 1998.
On February 10th 2008, the FAA were advised by Declo Enterprises of a sale
in December 2006 to Kirt Young, Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Presumably, no Bill of Sale, Application for Registration and the $5 fee has
been submitted and it's currently listed as "sale reported".
I have a photo of it at Fond Du Lac County airport, Wisconsin, taken on July
31st 2003 but have nothing later.
It's been modified, with the installation of winglets.
Best Regards,
Barry

Jim,
There are 2 public airports near El Reno, OK and 3 private airports.
The FAA is now requiring everyone to re-register all aircraft to get their
data base up to date.
i looked up the El Reno Regional on Google Maps and there appears to be a
Twin Commander sitting on the ramp.

My friend/client has been awarded ownership of a 520 from a bankruptcy

He does not know the N number and does not seem to be able to get any

It is suppose to be at a small private airport in OK.
I remember seeing one for sale at one time in that area.

No idea if it's what you're looking for, but I recall seeing a Commander
stuffed in the corner of a hanger in Cushing, OK a few years ago.
Couldn't tell the exact model as I taxied by, but appeared to be either
a 520 or 560. There also was a 520 (definitely ) in a large hanger that
appeared to be in fair shape.

Gang,=0A=0AHad my first hydraulic failure in 15 years of flying Twin Comman

round! Had a short =0Aflight of 50 minutes from San Diego (SEE) back to Ca

. dripping out of every weep hole from the brake =0Amaster cylinders in fro
nt of the cabin bulkhead, to the rear of the baggage =0Abay. It was gettin
g to dark for further investigation so I took a quick look in =0Athe tank,
where there was no fluid, just a shiny tank.=0A=0ATook a few days to track
it down, including pulling out the cabin floor (could =0ACommander have use
d a few more screws)? The belly was a red swimming pool. =0AFinally found
the leak in the right brake pressure return line. Neat little =0Apin-hole
behind the baggage upholstery right inside the baggage door in that =0Area
r corner. The upholstery had aluminum backing so the fluid squirted under
=0Apressure on the aluminum, and just got redirected to the belly. No doub
t, that =0Asteep landing approach, all left hand turns, helped move the red
pool to the =0Afront of the plane. Should have it sorted out in a couple d
ays now that it's =0Afound. Then there are the 8,726 screws in the floor!!
!=0A=0AThe real mystery to me is why was the tank empty? The breaker for t

Commander Folks,
Kristi Stelle, Jack Chappl's daughter has Jack's 560e for sale as a
dismantler, or parts plane. Jack showed me the plane some time ago,
before his health problems, and it has a pilots side door, shrike nose,
and other added improvements. Kristi told me that the engines are good.
She also has a warehouse full of old Commander parts. You can reach her
at (714) 609-3608.

No idea if it's what you're looking for, but I recall seeing a
Commander stuffed in the corner of a hanger in Cushing, OK a few years
ago. Couldn't tell the exact model as I taxied by, but appeared to be
either a 520 or 560. There also was a 520 (definitely ) in a large
hanger that appeared to be in fair - The --> http://www.matr

The dismantler part was not Kristi's words, they were mine. As you
know, Commanders are about impossible to transport other than flying.
The bird is at Riverside, CA (RAL) airport and would make a good project
plane if you lived in that area.
