Well, the link to website does indeed give the reasons for various
rejections, but to a non-geek like this old age pensioner, they are
otally
not understandable.
Why they have to use what is, to me anyway, jargon, is absolutely useless
.
For example:
=9CReverse DNS is a way of associating an IP address with its hostn
ame.
The reverse DNS identifier is contained in the PTR portion of the IP
Zone
ile.
The IP Zone File contains all the different ways that your IP and
domain name can be associated; each association serves a different need.
=C2=B7 AOL requires that all connecting Mail Transfer Agents have
established reverse DNS, regardless of whether it matches the domain.
=C2=B7 Reverse DNS must be in the form of a fully-qualified domai

Reverse DNS containing in-addr.arpa are not acceptable, as these are

placeholders for a valid PTR record. Reverse DNS consisting of IP
ddresses
are also not acceptable, as they do not correctly establish the
elationship
between an IP address and its associated domain.
=C2=B7 Reverse DNS that may be similar to dynamic IP space
(containing pool, dhcp, dyn, etc.) may be treated as suspect, and
should therefore should be changed to reflect a fully-qualified domain
name with standard
TA
reverse DNS. [Example: mail.aol.com]=9D
So, nothing anywhere near resembling a clear and precise reason then.
Why not state what the reason is in simple English, whether it=99s
UK or
US English?
I=99ll try again tomorrow . . . and the next day . . . . and the ne
xt . . .
then on my next Birthday!!
Best Regards,
Barry

I experienced that. The cause was a loose fitting on the emergency
extension cylinder. Found it with soap solution, it was on the starboard
side the last connection we checked. Required about 1/8 turn with a
wrench.
Kindest regards,
