Subject: Just Two Days Left - Still Way Behind...
Dear Listers, There are just two more days left in this years List Fund Raiser. Over the last few weeks I have received some really nice comments from members on what the Lists have meant to them. I have included some of them below. Please read over the comments and ponder on your own feelings about the Lists and the support and camaraderie you have found here. We are still way behind last year in terms of the number of contributions. I really want to keep providing these services to the homebuilt community, but it take resources. Since there's no advertising budget or deep pockets to keep the operation a float, its solely your generosity during the Fund Raiser that keeps things going. Please make a Contribution today. If you've been putting off showing your support for the Lists, now is the time to do it! Make a contribution with a Credit Card or though PayPal at that Matronics Contribution web site: http://www.matronics.com/contribution Or, drop a check in the mail: Matronics / Matt Dralle 581 Jeannie Way Livermore, CA 94550 Thank you in advance for your support! Flying Magazine columnist Stephen Pope write about the accident and even posted a bit too realistic video of the accident. At least it seems nothing went wrong mechanically with the 690A; it was apparently more of a problem readjusting to new Class B regulations around Phoenix. Here is the link for those who don't get Flying. The new editor, Robert Goyer also talks about it on his blog: http://www.flyingmag.com/news/video-footage-captures-arizona-crash?cmpid=enews112911 -------- 560 Dreamer Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=359802#359802

    From: "Peter Bichier" <pbichie@UTNet.UToledo.Edu>
Forgot to post this earlier, but on the latest EAA Sport Aviation Digital there is a great story on feeling insecure at night over the mountains on a 685 by none but Jeff Skiles, the USAirways 1549 copilot who successfully ditched on the Hudson... May be he would be willing to join us on one of our Fly-ins? just a thought :) Here it is: "A Cold Winter's Night" p88-90 and the link: http://www.sportaviationonline.org/sportaviation/201112#p.89 -------- 560 Dreamer Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=359805#359805
