I needed a seal for the gear box which I purchased fr om an engine re builder. The Chicago Rawhide package the seal came in was unopened (from the factory)=3B was obviously not inspected (I wasn't surpri sed!) by Lycoming and the package simply stamped with the Lycoming part num ber and of course - marked up astronomically. If you do not have a complete motor=2C I really only need the roller be aring inside the pump. My pump still puts out good pressure=2C it's just t hat it is so noisy that even drivers of early Lears complain about the nois e on the tarmac.
