Gordon" Just think of all those bone crunching freezes you've had in Toledo during the winters.. You'll trade those in for bone crunching summer chill from the fog and win d and in the winter the clear, cold nights with the high humidity will make you think Midwestern winters were warm. Having said that, I called the Monterey Bay home for 27 years, consider mys elf in exile from it now and almost cry every time I fly past it and wish I still lived there. Various Commanders have called Watsonville, Hollister, Salinas and Monterey airports home. You'll love it there. Wing Commander Gordon Life is not simple anywhere. Probably less so elsewhere.
