Hi Russell,
Yes, social media augments websites, it does not dilute them. Looking
forward to the new TCFG website.
Thanks, Keith, your story will go up.
If anyone has Commander stories, please let's get them going. You don't
have to send them to me (unless you want me to do some editing), just
visit the Facebook site (www.facebook.com/commanderflight), "Like" the
site if you haven't done so already, and copy and paste your story.
Keith is right, it does get international participation, which can only
be good.

Hi Keith,
This is fine with TCFG - the new website will definitely include your
story and I don't see that the site we are developing is in competition
with Nicu's Facebook site.
The site is being developed by Jim and Sue Metzger in conjunction with
Chris Wall and TCFG member Gabriel Fernandez (True North) with the
assistance of Barry Collman, Bruce Byerly and others. Gabe is donating
the site construction effort back to the TCFG.
Nicu do you see it that way?
Cheers and regards
Russell

I'm honored that you'd like to post my story about ferrying the AC680FL
to Pago Pago.
Russell Legg is putting it on the new TCFG web site.
I don't want to get TwitterMySpaceFaceBook and the new TCFG web site to
dilute Commander info or compete.
Russell, what's your take on this situation?

Hi all,
Got away for the weekend to a sheep station with a few of my airport mates.
The boys and girls were treated to a demonstration by our host in his Cub.
Just had to raise the bar.
www.youtube.com/watch?v=1IP0idI55Q
See you in September.
Cheers,
Richard

Hi Andrew,
Would you care to write stories for the Commander facebook page? Just
short articles would be very welcome. Plugging your book wouldn't be
frowned upon either.
You can visit the Aero Commander facebook page at
www.facebook.com/commanderflight and please "like" the site to get your
name on the roster.
Thanks,
Nico

Hello everybody,
My publisher asked me to submit my manuscript "Dragon in the Sky" for
review. I should know within a couple of weeks if it is accepted or not.
Please pray/hold thumbs/touch wood/whatever... that it is accepted. I
decided to keep the crash and search and rescue scene in the book, so my
thanks must go to Nico van Niekerk, Tom Fisher, Don Girod, and Bruce
Campbell for their help on S&R. Is there anybody I missed? Please let me
know if I have. Also my thanks to Nico again for info on the Cessna 310
R. Next, I wanted to acknowledge you in the book - is it OK that I do
so?
Now for apologies - sorry - very sorry - there is no mention of a
Commander in this book.
God bless,
Andrew

Hi Andrew. Whatever you feel is topical and appropriate would be fine.
Generating buzz has to do with content, content, content. It's entirely
your call.
Regular assessment of feedback (or the lack thereof) would give you a good
indication of where to go. It won't be perfect at first, but that's to be
expected. Learning from feedback and adapting accordingly is key.
Your contributions will show up under your own name (or nom de plume), so
everybody will see it as your ideas and thoughts and not necessarily that of
Aero Commander.
Just some thoughts on social media.
Hope to see you in facebook soon.
Thanks,
Nico
