Here's my too fast third approach into Johnson Creek last weekend.

I had a blast - slept in the cabin, grilled and cooked on my camping stove and
watched a constant parade of bush planes take off and land all weekend. Even some
Mooney's, Cirrii and Bonanzas made it in, but sadly, I was the only twin.
Made loads of new friends and I will def be back next year. Even though the field
elevation was 5000ft and the rwy 3500ft, I was off in less than half with
two stages of flaps and 2hrs of fuel. This leads me to believe that there is virtually
no Commander that couldn't safely get in and out of here. Even an 685
would be able to, I think.

Which leads me to the question - is there any interest amongst the Commander group
to do our own grass strip and camping meet in the future?
