Had one today as well in the best possible place - just after I'd made the turn
off the active rwy at El Monte, CA!
I managed to taxi her back to her parking using the hand pump and as I stepped
out it was obvious that it was a broken line just after the firewall. I toyed
with the idea of flying her flapless and with gear out down to my mechanic, but
sensibly decided against it. Measured the hose and they'll come to me and replace
it.
