I saw a picture and it looked like an Islander, not a Commander. Sent from my iPhone On Jan 6, 2013, at 3:26 PM, lloyd silverman <lloydsss11@msn.com> wrote: WAS THE PLANE LOST OUT OF VENEZUELA YESTERDAY CARRYING MASSONI A TWIN COMMANDER ? ANYBODY KNOW ? * *

The media says it's a Britten-Norman BN-2 Islander, although they usually g et it wrong. Looks like a Commander to the uninformed. ~KG~ Life is not simple anywhere. Probably less so elsewhere. This aircraft is a Britain-Norman Islander, you can easily tell by the dual wheel fixed main gear, & the shape of fuselage & tail group are different.
