John,
The whole handle and latch is the same as many early Beech, that is
another avenue.
I was lucky enough to pick up a whole assembly, still in the sealed tin
can, with a Beech 18 P/N. I have a 500A.
Cheers,
Bill Hamilton

Hello all,
I=99ve just recently bought a 500A (N78379) and have gone back and
read, during my pre-purchase research, many of the posts Bill Bow made
during his ownership of this aircraft. I=99ve enjoyed reading
them and already feel a part of this group even though this is my first
time to ask a question. I=99m having a few things fixed and one
squawk is no way to lock the cabin. There are no guts to the door
hardware and it looks like I need a complete latch assembly. Would
anyone have an idea where I might find one?

The locks are also the same for many Aerostars. Good luck.

to my old 520. I bet they're the same part.
