Fabulous video..!! Fell in love with Beavers when I was 12 spending a
summer in Newfoundland, Canada at my dad's mining camp. Only way in and out
was in the Beaver or DC3 (fell in love with DC3s too). Finally got a ride
in a Kenmore Air Beaver while doing a project in the San Juan Islands.
Pilot was a 13 year old cute gal (well.actually she was in her 20s, just
looked 13). Also flew my Commander 680F up to the San Juan's for more
projects. Beavers and Commanders - can't get any better than that.

New to the list, really like the Twin Commanders, joined the TCFG and always
browse the "for sale" ads. There is a project 690E on trade-a-plane. Anyone
know the history behind this plane (S/N 680E-669-1)? This plane has been
available for a very long time so what's the scoop?

I took the liberty of publishing the Beaver video on the Commander facebook
page at: www.facebook.com/COMMANDERFLIGHT
Randy, if you wish, post this account of your Beaver encounters there, too.
Thanks
nico
