Well, it looks like I'm coming back into the fold again - just shook hands virtually on a Century converted (TPE331-1-151K's) 680V. Taking it to Morris for a once over in the coming weeks to see that everything is kosher. Hopefully it won't bankrupt me this turbine business. If all works out, I look forward to being back in a Commander. -------- Adam Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=431896#431896

Congratulations, Adam! If the pre-buy goes well, I think you'll be very happy with your new plane. Turbines are way more reliable than pistons, and if they're maintained and kept in good condition, there should be very few surprises. And you gotta love the 800-hour oil change intervals! You'll also appreciate that one of the advantages of the 680V is that it's exempted from SB208A. I'm curious: with the Century conversion did you also get bleed air pressurization? Thanks Stan. Yes, bleed air pressurisation. In fact, with the Century upgrade it's more like the 681. Still got some Skydrol in there running the gear swing and flaps, but at least it's less. If all goes well, I look forward to turbine power and reliability! -------- Adam Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=431900#431900
