Taking it to Morris for a once over in the coming weeks to see that everything is kosher. Hopefully it won't bankrupt me this turbine business. If all works out, I look forward to being back in a Commander. -------- Adam Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=431896#431896 ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 09:00:45 PM PST US From: "Stan" Subject: RE: Commander-List: Re: Thoughts on Commander 680V Congratulations, Adam! If the pre-buy goes well, I think you'll be very happy with your new plane. Turbines are way more reliable than pistons, and if they're maintained and kept in good condition, there should be very few surprises. And you gotta love the 800-hour oil change intervals! You'll also appreciate that one of the advantages of the 680V is that it's exempted from SB208A. I'm curious: with the Century conversion did you also get bleed air pressurization? Yes, bleed air pressurisation. In fact, with the Century upgrade it's more like the 681. Still got some Skydrol in there running the gear swing and flaps, but at least it's less. If all goes well, I look forward to turbine power and reliability! -------- Adam Read this topic online here: http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.php?p=431900#431900 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Other Matronics Email List Services ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Post A New Message commander-list@matronics.com UN/SUBSCRIBE http://www.matronics.com/subscription List FAQ http://www.matronics.com/FAQ/Commander-List.htm Web Forum Interface To Lists http://forums.matronics.com Matronics List Wiki http://wiki.matronics.com Full Archive Search Engine http://www.matronics.com/search 7-Day List Browse http://www.matronics.com/browse/commander-list Browse Digests http://www.matronics.com/digest/commander-list Browse Other Lists http://www.matronics.com/browse Live Online Chat! http://www.matronics.com/chat Archive Downloading http://www.matronics.com/archives Photo Share http://www.matronics.com/photoshare Other Email Lists http://www.matronics.com/emaillists Contributions http://www.matronics.com/contribution ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- These Email List Services are sponsored solely by Matronics and through the generous Contributions of its members.
