Folks,
I have read the whole FAA policy doc. on the subject, what a contrast to
CASA in Australia, where the basic policy is =9Call pilots and
engineers are just criminals who haven=99t been caught
yet=9D.
In a country where the safety outcomes are world leading, this FAA
policy has the potential to further improve an already good record.

Effective September 2015, the FAA implemented, =9CCompliance
Philosophy=9D, FAA Order 8000.373, permitting the Agency and
Airman to resolve matters, without negative annotations into
Airman=99s flying records. Qualifying Factors-(=9CDeviation
not a result of intentional, reckless, or criminal behavior=9D)
FAA Inspectors, are working toward final processing, of your PD.
Attached are PBR Brochure, Pilot/Owner Information (complete highlighted
areas) and Remedial Training Offer (RT) letter. Please do not be alarmed
by paragraph =9CB=9D elements. As per our discussion,
close-out of your Pilot Deviation will only consist of brief
=9Conline training=9D. This will not involve any financial
element. Please sign and return.
