My engine is a O-200 I got from a wind damaged C-150. As I finish up my project, I have cleaned out my shop and sold off some things I'm not going to use, including the starter associated gear/drive clutch. I removed these items during the overhaul, which I did myself, and although I am an engine designer of many years experience, I am not an A&P, therefore the starter and gear are only of value in an experimental, or as cores. Kind of fun to be working on a 1940 era engine, tho. These items were removed from the O-200 I bought out of a Cessna 150 which blew away in a windstorm. The engine had 1056 hours SMOH at that time. I assume they were operating OK when the wind came up. Here's the dope: Prestolite Key Start Starter for Continental O-200 Cessna P/N 634464 Prestolite Tag: P/N MZ 4214 S/N 9E000342 Looks very good. Current market price (new) is approximately $300.00 Again, I have to assume it's in working order, but even as a core it's worth around $200. So I'm asking $100.00, plus $15.00 for shipping. I may have to compromise on this, too. Shipping is an additional $15.00 Prestolite Starter Gear/Clutch For key start Continental O-200 Cessna P/N 641500 Gear 10-G, 12/63 teeth Looks excellent Presumably operating satisfactorily when removed The gear clutch is the real pricy item here. Current market price on these things is about $400.00 I will settle for $100.00. Shipping for the gear only is $10.00. I'm attaching a couple of photos (don't really know if you can do that on this site) If you want to see these, or any additional photos, just let me know off list. Feel free to ask any questions Thanks Dave
