The engine I have doesn't have a mechanical fuel pump or the eccentric on the cam to drive one. Do I need a different cam or does the eccentric fit in between the cam end and the vacuum pump drive? Any other ideas would be good? Cheers Peter. ________________________________ Message 2 _____________________________________ Time: 05:28:24 PM PST US From: "Aaron Gustafson" Subject: Re: Continental-List: Mechanical Fuel Pump Peter I have the same engine in a Zenith 601 and I just used 2 Facet fuel pumps, one in each tank. It's a lot cheaper for sure. Do you even have the boss to mount a pump on. Mine did not. The O-200 does have the place for a mechanical pump but nothing else. I have a copy of WW Corvair/601 book so may go with the double electric pump setup.
